            Vasil Kostin, a PhD candidate at the University of Oxford and graduate of the Third Facult
            at Charles University, shares his experiences from research and clinical placements at pre
            institutions across Europe, the USA, and beyond – from Harvard University to the Medical U

            Vienna and Kenya. Through his own journey, he will show how international mobility opens d
            collaborations, world-class mentors, and global opportunities. The webinar is aimed at stu

            Vasil is a PhD candidate at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the Unive
            where his research focuses on gene therapy in ophthalmology. He graduated from the Third F

            Medicine at Charles University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Harvard Opht
            Lab. During his studies, he undertook 10 international placements – including a humanitari
            Kenya, University Hospital Basel, and clinics in Germany, Vienna, Portugal, Switzerland, a
